A 7-year-old boy was critically hurt Sunday after he fell about 60 feet from a chairlift at Sugar Bowl, a resort spokesman said. The child was practicing with the resort ski team when he fell from the Mount Lincoln lift, sales and marketing manager John Monson told KCRA 3. After the fall, he was taken to Renown Medical Center in Reno, Monson said. He also had surgery to relieve skull pressure. Bill Hudson, who is part of the foundation that oversees the Sugar Bowl Ski Team, declined to release the injured boy’s name or hometown.
