High Winds Create Dangerous Driving Conditions

Gusts as high as 60 miles per hour made for dangerous driving conditions across Southern California Sunday. Moderate to strong offshore winds are expected to continue to hit Los Angeles, Ventura, Orange, San Bernardino and Riverside counties through Monday, according to National Weather Service forecasters. High wind warnings were lifted by 10 p.m. Sunday after a weekend of strong gusts across the Southland. Northeast winds reached as high as 25 to 40 miles per hour in the mountains and valleys.
