Parents Sue Park for $2.4 Million After Oregon Toddlers’ Deaths

A fire that killed two toddlers is the subject of a Umatilla County lawsuit that alleges negligence on the parts of the Seattle-based management company and the trailer park manager. The suit names the toddlers’ parents as beneficiaries of their estates. The suit seeks $2.4 million. The fire killed 16-month-old Olivia Wilson and 4-month-old Eva Wilson in February 2011. A state fire marshal determined the fire was caused by combustibles too close to a space heater.
