NJ Public Adjuster Indicted on Fraud Charges

An Essex County public adjuster was indicted Friday for allegedly defrauding clients and insurance companies of more than $36,000 by billing for repairs that were never completed, the state Attorney General’s Office said. Sheena Clarke, 59, of Englewood, allegedly submitted fraudulent property damage claims to four insurance companies between July 31, 2005 and Aug. 13, 2010, the office said in a news release.
