Soggy Mail Delivered After Postal Truck Rolls Into Pond In Simpsonville

Some may have received their mail a little waterlogged Tuesday after a U.S. Postal Service delivery vehicle ended up in a pond in Simpsonville. Officials with the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office were called to Hayworth Drive around 4:30 p.m. where the mail truck rolled into the water. Postal officials tell 7 On Your Side 47-year old Elaina James fell out of the vehicle because she was leaning too far. They say her foot came off the brake and truck rolled away, running over her foot.
