Crane Breaks Windows of World Trade Center Tower

The plaza at the Sept. 11 memorial in New York City has been evacuated after a crane broke some windows in one of the new World Trade Center skyscrapers. The fire department says no injuries have been reported. About 60 firefighters are at the scene. The FDNY says the crane’s weight apparently shifted as the beam was being lifted to 4 World Trade Center at around 11:30 a.m. Wednesday. It hit windows on the 45th and 46th floors.
