’Big jolt’ as two planes clip wings at Miami airport

Two planes clipped at Miami International Airport Thursday, but there were no injuries from the incident, a MIA spokeswoman said. An inbound Aerolineas Argentinas Airbus A340 arriving from Buenos Aires clipped an outbound Air France Boeing 777 that was parked at the gate, said Maria Elena Levrant of the Miami-Dade Aviation Department. Air France Flight 695 was preparing to depart with 350 passengers for Paris. "It was just like a big jolt, and then shaking, and then it stopped," passenger Bente Densen said.
