Kidnapped teen saves self by crashing into cop car

A teenager who was being forced to drive by a kidnapper managed to save herself by intentionally crashing the car into a police vehicle. PressofAtlanticCity.com says that 45-year-old Floribert Nava was arrested and charged with kidnapping following the crash in Wildwood, N.J. The kidnapping appears to be the result of an argument over the adoption of a newborn baby. NBC Philadelphia reports that Nava allegedly forced the teen into a car with a handgun and was planning to make her drive to Philadelphia, where the baby’s adoptive parents were located.
