Fire Truck Crashes Into Pole: Who Gets The Bill?

A Walker County fire truck crashed into a pole in the middle of a grocery store parking lot. Now the truck, which is valued at over half a million dollars, must be fixed. Broken windows and a missing front fender for Walker County’s Station 6 ladder truck. David Ashburn, Walker County’s Director of Emergency Services, tells us that "personnel on Ladder 6 had gone to Sonic Drive-thru to pick up some breakfast. The driver pulled into Fred’s parking lot because it’s a much bigger parking lot to park the vehicle."
