Illinois Man Sentenced for Multi-State Auto Theft Scheme

A Madison, Ill., man faced jail time after being convicted in for an auto theft scheme that spanned Illinois and Missouri, according to federal officials. The United States Attorney for the Southern District of Illinois, Stephen R. Wigginton, announced that Gordon D. Caldwell, was sentenced on June 21, 2013, to a total of months in prison and ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $87,889.96.
