Train-rig crash at Hwy 29-154 in Coweta County, Ga.

Power is out and lanes are closed after a tractor-trailer and train crash at Highways 29 and 154 in Coweta County, just south of town, Wednesday morning. Five people are reported hurt -- including the driver of tractor-trailer. A woman and three children were aboard the tractor-trailer, according to FOX 5’s Carolyn Ryan at the scene. It’s believed that most of then were transported to Eggleston hospital for some type of injuries. All lanes are blocked as of 7:15 a.m. and, according to the Georgia Department of Transportation, they are expected to stay closed for several hours. The crash site is not far I-85.
