Agents from the Attorney General’s Insurance Fraud Section today charged a Northumberland County woman who allegedly collected more than $45,000 in her deceased father’s workers’ compensation disability benefits. Attorney General Kathleen G. Kane identified the defendant as Margaret Ann Black, 50, 6245 Paradise Road, Milton, Northumberland County. The charges state that Black never notified Zurich North America of her father’s death and continued to collect more than $800 a week in his workers’ compensation benefits.
