Customers at a Krispy Kreme had to run for their lives as a car came crashing through the store. It happened at about 9:30 Monday morning at the store in Jeffersontown.
A customer tells WDRB News he saw a woman pull up to the store and everything seemed to be fine. But he says he had just gotten up from his seat, right as the car came through the front of the store and went out the side. Bob Cross said, "And then all of a sudden she shot through the window, we heard the crashing, and we got out of the way a little bit and my partner was buried in glass and the door kind of coming down on him. Fortunately all he wound up with were a couple little scrapes and cuts."
Cross is a former police officer who says he has investigated similar accidents.
