At least 2 firefighters injured in 9-alarm fire in Back Bay, Mass.

At least two firefighters have been injured in a nine-alarm fire at 298 Beacon St. in the Back Bay. Firefighters responded at 2:43 p.m. to the building, a 4-story brick brownstone, where a fire extended upward from the basement. Thick smoke is billowing through the streets. Nick Martin, a Boston EMS spokesman, said the two had been transported to Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
