IFD battles 3-alarm fire at Ind. industrial building

Crews are battling a fire reported this morning in an industrial building in the Fountain Square area.
Firefighters were called about 5:45 a.m. to the IndyDrum Empty Container Management Services on East Terrace Avenue near South Sherman Drive on the Southeastside. An explosion was reported, according to scanner traffic. Hazmat crews were called to the scene due to chemical spill. The fire initially was a two-alarm fire and was raised to a three-alarm fire at about 6:15 a.m.
