Fire Damages Northwest Fresno Home

 Thursday, May 29, 2014

Firefighters are trying to figure out what started a fire that badly damaged a Northwest Fresno home. The fire started Wednesday night before midnight at a home on Fruit and Barstow. When firefighters got there, they found the roof was on fire and called for backup. One man was inside the home at the time, but managed to make it out. Investigators say the fire started in a living area on the west side of the home but quickly spread to the attic which then ignited the wood shake roof.
