Fire crews were on the scene again early Monday morning after battling a blaze Sunday night that destroyed a group home in Lynn. The two-story structure on North Common Street was built in the 1880s and provided services for people with disabilities. Firefighters were called back to the scene at around 4:40 a.m. because as a company was on scene boarding up the home, they noticed smoke coming from an upstairs dormer. They left just before 6:30 a.m.
The fire started early Sunday evening as an automatic alarm from the home.
