A Kansas City man who allegedly broke into a costume shop and stole a bird costume had his wings clipped by police after he wore the stolen suit to a nearby bar for wing night. Customers at the Cashew saw the man come in on Thursday while wearing a giant yellow cape and a feathered hat. He began singing loudly and police showed up after finding out about an allegedly burglary at the Kansas City Costume Company. "He got into the costume shop, took the costume and then walked down the street to the bar," Kansas City Police Department spokeswoman Sgt. Kari Thompson told the Kansas City Star. "Several witnesses saw this and called. We located him at the bar and arrested him. He was observed wearing a yellow cape or coat with a hat with feathers."
