Wallingford, Pa. man convicted of arson, insurance fraud

A Wallingford man was convicted on two counts of arson, criminal mischief and filing a false insurance claim Monday for a Feb. 13, 2012, blaze at an Eddystone auto repair shop. Anthony Marinelli, 49, who formerly owned a mechanical repair business next door to the scene of the fire at Guy’s Collision on the 1100 block of East Ninth Street, is scheduled for sentencing Sept. 11 before Judge Kevin F. Kelly. Kelly heard the case during a bench trial last week and had taken the weekend to decide the verdict.
