Dozing Driver Wrecks Semi Loaded with Butter

A semi carrying 45,000 pounds of butter and whipped cream crashed along Interstate 465 on the city’s south side early Friday after Indiana State Police say the driver nodded off. The crash occurred around 3:30 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of I-465 just west of I-65. Traffic has since been able to get through. Indiana State Police officials said 25-year-old driver Charles Pryor III fell asleep and hit a sign.The trailer split in half, spilling containers of butter and whipped cream products across the highway. Among the products were Reddi wip, Blue Bonnet butter, and Parkay spray butter.
