Two San Diego Officers Injured in Motorcade Collision
Wednesday, October 1st, 2014 Auto Liability Workers' CompensationTwo San Diego motorcycle police officers collided while participating in a motorcade on Coronado’s Silver Strand early Monday, sending both to the hospital, police said. The crash on Silver Strand Boulevard, about two miles south of the Hotel del Coronado, occurred around 7:45 a.m., according to SDPD Officer Matt Tortorella. Paramedics took both officers to UCSD Medical Center, he said. As of Monday evening, one of the officers was listed in serious condition.
