Tuesday, October 28th, 2014 Property

A Gloucester pizza parlor and two residential floors above it were destroyed in a fire that swept through the building in the Magnolia section of the city on Sunday morning. Firefighters responded to a call for Magnolia House of Pizza at 35 Fuller St. around 9:20 a.m. About 50 firefighters from three towns in addition to Gloucester were on the scene. No one was injured in the three-alarm fire, Gloucester Fire Captain Joe Aiello said, but “the building is a total loss.” By 3 p.m., the fire was under control, and firefighters from most of the towns that had responded to aid Gloucester had left, Aiello said.
