Roofs were torn off and trucks toppled after a violent line of thunderstorms roared across Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia early Monday afternoon before heading out to sea, with an Arctic express coming right behind.
The storm front spawned some funnel clouds while winds blew two tractor-trailer trucks on their sides on the Dames Point bridge, left a broken 70- to 100-pound window pane hanging off the Wells Fargo building in downtown Jacksonville and ripped the roof off a Jacksonville Beach building.
