At least one confirmed tornado touched down in Georgia on Sunday with the heaviest damage confirmed by officials to be in Upson County. Officials with the National Weather Service were out Monday surveying damage along a 150 mile line that started at the Georgia border, just south of Fort Benning, and extended northeast to an area near Social Circle. This corridor was part of a series of Tornado Warnings on Sunday. The National Weather Service reported that they detected a debris cloud in a fast-moving storm that is generally associated with a tornado.
