5 Injured In Car And Amish Buggy Collision

Three children and two adults were injured in a violent head-on collision between a horse-and-buggy and vehicle Wednesday morning in East Lampeter Township. The children, believed to include at least one infant, and a woman suffered serious injuries, officials said. All were riding in the buggy. One of the children was taken to Hershey Medical Center for treatment. The woman and other children were taken to Lancaster General Hospital, according to East Lampeter Township police Chief John Bowman.
