A Hamilton County, Illinois school bus caught fire on Tuesday, forcing the students on board to evacuate. The school bus driver evacuated the children aboard after the bus started smoking on Tuesday afternoon, according to McLeansboro Fire Department Assistant Fire Chief Jim Morris. The school bus later caught fire. Tad Ziehm said his children were aboard the Hamilton County Unit 10 school bus. “Just went on to the shop and got a fire extinguisher out of the combine and ran down here and did what I could do until Gary started showing up," Zeihm said.
