Insurance Company Denies Oklahoman’s Pothole Claim

It’s a common problem that Oklahoma drivers face on a daily basis. However, a Tulsa man says a large pothole severely damaged his car. Angel Cancel said his wife drove over a massive hole along the road, damaging their car’s strut.“She hit it so hard that the strut went straight up and almost came up through the hood of the car,” Cancel told KJRH. Cancel has full coverage on his car with USAA, so he called the company to see what he needed to do to get the car repaired. In November, he says a representative with the insurance company told him to get a few estimates. A week later, an adjuster arrived to assess the damages.
