Historic Texas Saloon Catches Fire

It’s a building that’s existed since 1902, but the old tan Wunsche Bros. Café and Saloon was closed Sunday. “Not sure at this time what started it, however we do know it started in the stage area,” says Kim Mitchell, who used to work at the restaurant. Residents in Old Town Spring woke up to find a restaurant favorite engulfed in flames. “We had Spring fire department, Ponderosa, the Woodlands, South County and Aldine,” explains John Babendure, from the Spring fire department.
