St. Louis Insurance Offices Overwhelmed With Hail Damage Claims

Hundreds of residents have sustained damage from Tuesday morning storms that swept through the St. Louis area. One insurance company, State Farm, received about 300 claims by 4 p.m. Eighty percent of the claims are for hail-damaged vehicles, including a dozen that are no longer drivable. Spokesperson Jim Camoriano expects the amount of claims to increase significantly over the next couple of days.
