A van crashed into a doughnut shop in Pittsburgh Wednesday morning. The accident happened shortly before 7:30 a.m. at Better Maid Donuts on Steuben Street in Crafton Heights. Two customers inside the shop were hurt. A man who was pinned between a wall and the van managed to free himself. He suffered leg, rib and chest injuries. "If I’d have taken one more step, I’d have been in front of the van," said owner Tim Smith. A woman suffered an ankle injury. Both were taken to the hospital in stable condition. The driver of the van was not injured.
