Flooding, Property Damage Follows Severe Weather In South Florida

Homeowners continue to clean up Friday morning, after an EF 0 tornado tore through a Davie neighborhood, flooding roads and leaving hundreds of residents without power. According to the National Weather Service, the tornado first touched down on the Imagination Farm Development along Orange Drive and Southwest 136th Avenue at around 6:40 p.m., Thursday, then lifted and touched down again at Ivanhoe Estates, about four minutes later. Winds of up to 80 miles per hour uprooted two trees near the entrance of the Imagination Farms development.
