Loaded Elementary School Bus Crashes Into Lake

Deputies in Hillsborough County were called to the scene of a school bus crash on Thursday. The bus went off the roadway and into a lake. It happened in the area of Kingsmill Place and Nine Eagles Drive in north Tampa. Authorities said the bus was carrying 27 students from Mary E. Bryant Elementary School. A news release said three deputies who first arrived at the crash jumped into the water to rescue children. All of the students and the bus driver have been accounted for and there were no reported serious injuries.
