Porsche Recalling 22K Cars In U.S. For Possible Fuel Leak

Porsche is requesting buyers of the Macan and Macan Turbo to bring in the vehicles for an examination and possible parts replacement. The voluntary safety recall issued is for 58,881 Porsche Macan and Macan Turbo that have been distributed worldwide. Out of the global pool, 21,835 of the sports cars are in the United States while 3,490 were distributed in Canada. Based on the numbers, this is one of Porsche’s biggest biggest recalls this year.According to Porsche’s press release, the reason for the recall is the possible leakage in the low-pressure fuel line in the engine compartment.
