Deer-Related Collisions Keep Adjusters, Body Shops Busy

Penni Glover was traveling north on U.S. 43, heading home like she has countless other times, when a deer suddenly leaped in front of the car. “It totaled her car,” said her husband, Casey. “Thankfully, she wasn’t hurt, but she was shaken up.”
Casey Glover said after going to the wrecker yard to see the damage to his wife’s car, he almost hit several more deer on Lauderdale 47 near Lone Cedar Church. "They were in a herd, and after I missed those, I had to hit the brakes again on Lauderdale 94 near Happy Hollow,” he said.
