Quitman residents hit hard by storms are still picking-up the pieces Wednesday morning. The National Weather service says straight line winds are responsible for dozens of downed trees and a number of damaged homes. "It was real calm for about 20 seconds and after that it sounded like a train, then was real calm again," Quitman resident Toby Farnham said. He was in a bedroom when storms hit his family’s home on Randy Road. Seconds later he said, a cracking and loud crash outside.
