Fire Damages Oklahoma Apartment Complex Under Construction

Fire damaged a Broken Arrow apartment building under construction early Wednesday. Firefighters got the call at around 1:15 a.m. to the Creekside Apartments at 51st Street and Aspen. Firefighters worked for several hours to bring the fire under control. Because of the cold temperatures, the fire department had to rotate about 20 firefighters. The Red Cross is on scene providing coffee and snacks to the firefighters. Several buildings in the new complex were complete and and people are living in them, but firefighters say none were close enough to be in any danger from the fire.
