Ford Pickup Bursts Into Flames On The Road

A Ford pickup truck caught fire and burst into flames, causing minor explosions Thursday evening. David Dickson, the owner of the truck, says he was at 17th Street and Ross Avenue around 7 p.m. when the truck started to jerk and smoke began pouring from under the hood.He pulled over, opened the hood and says there was a fire in the engine. Within seconds, Dickson says the truck burst into flames. Video, shot by a passerby, shows the flames were 30-40 feet in the air at one point – scorching power lines above the truck.
