After Collision, Car Veers Into 3 People At Bus Stop

Three people were struck by a car while waiting at a MARTA bus stop in the 400 block of North Avenue NE. At 11:17 a.m. Tuesday, Atlanta police said a two-car accident occurred on North Avenue near Boulevard. The impact of the accident caused one driver to lose control and strike three pedestrians at a MARTA bus stop. Three pedestrians and the driver and passenger in one of the cars were injured and taken to the hospital. Witnesses said all of the injured were alert, conscious and breathing.
