Fourteen people were injured, at least two severely, after a highway collision Sunday night in Oklahoma. A church van with 11 people on board was struck from behind while travelling northbound on U.S. Route 75, about 30 miles south of Tulsa, Oklahoma Highway Patrol Trooper Brad Giulioli said. The driver of the 1996 Dodge van told authorities the van experienced transmission problems and slowed to about 40 miles per hour just before it was struck, Giulioli said. The van was struck from behind by a black pickup truck, sending both vehicles off the roadway, through a fence, and into a pasture where the grass caught fire.
