Small Plane Crashes In Los Angeles Street, Striking Multiple Vehicles

The pilot of a small plane escaped injury this afternoon after blustery conditions upset his craft and he was forced to make a crash landing on a street adjacent to Whiteman Airport in Pacoima. Neither the pilot, who was not identified, nor anyone on the ground was hurt, said Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Margaret Stewart.
