Who’s Really Paying For Workers Comp?

It was supposed to be a grand bargain to provide workers who were injured on the job with financial compensation for the injury while simultaneously protecting employers from negligence suits.But more than 100 years after the first workers compensation insurance law was enacted, worker advocates argue the system has been rejiggered so much that employers are the only ones getting a bargain, and business groups say more reform is needed if they are to keep their costs manageable.
