Severe Storms Fell Trees On Homes, Cars In Alabama

Severe storms moved through central Alabama late Wednesday night and early Thursday morning. There are reports of damage in several counties. In Montgomery County, several trailers at the Pike Road Village mobile home community off Troy Highway were damaged. Large trees fell on several mobile homes. Several cars were also damaged. According to reports from the scene, there were no injuries except for minor scrapes. The Rollings Hills Lakes Volunteer Fire Department was on the scene cutting trees that were blocking roads.
