An explosion at a natural gas production plant sent flames high into the sky late Monday night. According to Jackson County Emergency Services Director Earl Etheridge, the explosion happened around 11:30 p.m. at the Enterprise plant in Pascagoula. Emergency crews have the site blocked off, as they work to put out the inferno. Pascagoula police released a statement on Facebook, saying in part, "We are working with state and local officials regarding this. There will be no evacuations at this time and there are no injuries." We’ve learned two workers were at the plant when the explosion occurred.
