Jaguars Running Back, Asleep At The Wheel, Crashes Into Pond

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Denard Robinson appeared to be "asleep or fatigued" after his vehicle went off the road and into a retention pond early July 3. Robinson, 25, was behind the wheel of a Chevy Impala submerged in water on the driver’s side in a retention pond on the south side of the eastbound lane of Beach Boulevard near Southside Boulevard, according to a Florida Traffic Crash Report filed by the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office. The crash happened at 4:20 a.m., according to the report. Both Robinson and an adult female passenger "looked to be asleep/passed out," the report detailed.
