Newlyweds, On The Road To A New Life, Robbed Of Almost Everything

A young Oregon couple who got married just a couple of months ago recently stopped in Phoenix to visit old friends before heading to Florida to start their new lives together. They stayed the night and woke up to a cruel surprise. Their pickup truck, which was packed with almost everything they own, was stolen while they slept. Ashley Castro says it’s a huge shock.
"It’s hard to believe that somebody would do that to you," she said. Their truck was parked in a lot at an apartment complex just off East Baseline Road near 32nd Street in Phoenix. "You’re just passing through the town, staying one night -- wake up and everything is gone," Castro said. The couple called the police and then searched the area but they found no sign of their truck.
