Severe Storms Leave Behind Damage In North Texas

 Tuesday, January 17, 2017

Severe storms and at least two tornadoes left behind damage in several parts of North Texas. The powerful storm system unleashed strong winds, heavy rain and lightning after the sun went down Sunday evening. The National Weather Service confirmed four tornadoes. There was an EF-1 near Lake Whitney in Hill County, an EF-1 in Clifton and EFO near Mosheim in Bosque County. Plus a tornado touched down in Grand Prairie and there were likely tornadoes in Limestone County and Coryell County, but those have not been rated yet.
