Georgia police arrested former insurance agent Christopher Lowell Jackson on several counts of insurance fraud and forgery following an investigation by the states Department of Insurance. An Online Athens report said that the accused is alleged to have filed bogus watercraft insurance claims and forged documents, which amounted to $7,100 in payouts from GEICO and Allstate. He made the claims against policies he took out in May last year for a boat. He filed for boat towing claims, saying it suffered engine failure off the Georgia coast.
