Fire Destroys Condo Building In Troubled Orlando Complex

Firefighters were battling a large fire this morning at the Tymber Skan on the Lake condo complex, just south of downtown Orlando. Orange County Fire Rescue crews responded just before 8 a.m. to find a building on Tymberwood Lane fully engulfed in flames. Photos and TV video of the scene showed flames coming from the roof of one of the buildings in the troubled condo complex. Black smoke could be seen along Interstate 4 and from downtown Orlando. Fire officials said no injuries have been reported. At least eight units were involved, but officials said all appeared to be vacant.
