Two-Alarm Fire Breaks Out Inside Buffalo Restaurant

Buffalo firefighters were called to a two-alarm fire on Pearl Street early Tuesday morning. Two-alarms mean nearly 60 firefighters were on the scene. Heavy smoke was seen coming from a two-story building just after 7:30 a.m. Buffalo firefighters say the building is a restaurant and a bar, La Delicias Taqueria, with apartments on the second floor. The restaurant was previously called Cuba Rosa. The fire was quickly marked under control, but caused about $175,000 in damage to the building and about $125,000 in damage to contents inside.
