17 Injured In Multiple-Vehicle Crash On Georgia Highway

One person is dead and 17 others were injured in a fiery crash on Georgia Highway 316 Monday afternoon. The 8-vehicle accident also shut down all eastbound lanes of traffic for several hours. “You just don’t see this type of thing very often,” said Captain Greg Vaughn, Lawrenceville Police Department. “I could tell by the voice of officer on the radio it was a mess.” It happened at GA-316 at Buford Drive in Lawrenceville. The Gwinnett County Fire Department said eight children and 10 adults were injured in the crash.
